25 Easy Ideas for the Best Days Leading Up to Christmas

25 ideas to have the best 25 days leading up to Christmas (activity ideas for the northern and southern hemispheres).

Dear Spirited Earthling,

Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year for many people, as it is undoubtedly one of the most popular and celebrated holidays. Having an easy activity for each of the 25 days leading up to Christmas can make the season even more enjoyable.

Having grown up in the Southern Hemisphere, and now living in the Northern Hemisphere – there will be two advent ideas for each hemisphere. Of course, there will be overlap in ideas, but no one in the south is going to be making snowmen. The ideas are presented in a simple list in this post. For only €1 you can buy the list in a December Calendar layout as a digital download. Simply: purchase the calendar, print it out, put it on the fridge where everyone in the house can see it and get involved each day.

Advent is the season leading up to Christmas, the 4 Sundays and weeks ahead of Christmas Day. To celebrate this season, have an advent wreath with four candles (with a fifth being optional). Light the first candle on the fourth Sunday from Christmas day (representing hope), the first and second on the third Sunday from Christmas (representing faith), three candles on the second Sunday before Christmas (representing joy), and the last candle on the Sunday before Christmas (representing peace). The fifth candle can be lit on Christmas.
